Healthy Turkey Chili

Ingredients

• 1 tbsp canola oil
• 1 lb ground turkey breast
• 1/2 medium onion chopped
• 1 tbsp minced garlic
• 1 package low sodium taco -seasoning
• 1 /2 cup water
• 1 (10 ounce) can tomato and green chilies
• 1 (8 ounce) can unsalted tomato sauce
• 1 ( 15 ounce) can unsalted kernel corn
• 1 (15 ounce) can unsalted kidney beans
• 1 (15 ounce) can unsalted black beans
• 1 tsp chili powder

Instructions

1. Heat canola oil in a large heavy-based pot over medium heat.

2. Cook turkey, onion, and minced garlic for 5 - 10 minutes or until browned.

3. Sprinkle taco mix ever turkey mixture

4. Stir in water to combine well.

5. Add remaining ingredients.

6. Simmer for 5 - 10 minutes.
